Thieves break into Jemco Chowk General Store, decamp with cash, valuables

Jamshedpur: Unidentified thieves stole cash and valuables worth several thousands of rupees from Anuradha General store at Jemco Chowk under the jurisdiction of Telco police station Sunday night.

According to police sources, thieves broke open the shutter of the shop in the dead of the night and stole cash as well as valuables.

In the morning, the owners of the shop found that the lock of the shutter was broken and around Rs. 25,000 in cash and several other valuables from the shop were missing.

The shop-owner informed the police. The police are now investigating the case. No one has been apprehended in the case yet.
