Babulal Marandi’s Sahibganj Visit: BJP Gains New Members, Inspects Ganga Bridge Project
BJP State President Babulal Marandi’s recent visit to Sahibganj for Makar Sankranti celebrations was marked by significant political developments and a keen interest in local infrastructure projects.
SAHIBGANJ – BJP State President Babulal Marandi recently attended a workers’ meeting in Sahibganj during Makar Sankranti.
Marandi motivated the party workers, emphasizing the goal of re-electing Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
In a significant political move, 200 Congress workers joined the BJP.
Former AICC member Neeraj Hembram and OBC Morcha State Coordinator Rajkumar Yadav led this shift.
Marandi also inspected the ongoing construction of the Ganga river bridge in Sahibganj.
He inquired about the bridge’s progress from Project Manager Mohd. Shahabuddin.
The bridge, measuring 21.9 kilometers with 46 pillars, is a major infrastructure project.
Currently, 40 pillars are complete, with ongoing work on four, and two pillars needing reconstruction post-cyclone.
Originally set for completion in October 2024, the bridge’s timeline has been extended to the end of 2025.
Marandi expressed his vision for the bridge, foreseeing it as a catalyst for regional development.
Neeraj Hembram spoke about his transition to BJP, citing the party’s role in national and state development.
He and other new members pledged their commitment to the BJP’s mission and future responsibilities.
