The tournament features a robust lineup of all twelve ISL and four I-League clubs, advancing into a knockout phase.

Sixteen teams are divided into four groups to compete in the 2024 edition of the Kalinga Super Cup.

The selection process for the I-League team in Group B involves five confirmed I-League teams: Gokulam Kerala FC, Sreenidi Deccan FC, Shillong Lajong FC, Inter Kashi, and Rajasthan United FC.

The top three teams in the I-League standings as of December 24, 2023, will directly qualify for the group stage.

The remaining two teams will face off in a single-leg qualifying playoff on January 9 to determine the fourth I-League contender.

Notably, I-League team 4, not part of the initial draw, has been automatically assigned to Group D at Position D4.

This tournament is poised to showcase a mix of emerging talent and established clubs, making it a pivotal event in the Indian football calendar.
