JAMSHEDPUR – DAV Bistupur hosted a vibrant CBSE Thespian Day, marking a day of theatrical excellence where budding actors from classes IX & X showcased their acting skills.

The event, a novel initiative by NEP, was designed to encourage students in extracurricular activities, featuring a range of plays that captivated the audience.

The plays presented covered a spectrum of themes, from classic literature to contemporary social issues, performed in English, Hindi, and Sanskrit.

The lineup included "Godohanam" by KrishnaChandra Tripathi, "The Dear Departed" by Stanley Houghton, "Uski Maa" by Pandey Bechan Sharma ‘Ugra’, "Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare, and "Thakur ka Kuan" by Premchand.

Students demonstrated remarkable acting prowess, bringing characters to life with authenticity and conviction.

The audience’s active engagement and positive response echoed the event’s success in captivating and entertaining the viewers.

Pragya Singh, Assistant Regional Officer, Jharkhand Zone-E and Principal of DAV Public School, Bistupur, hailed the drama performance as a resounding success.

She emphasized the event’s role in not just entertaining but also in reinforcing the significance of nurturing a thriving arts community within the educational framework.
