Life-Saving Skills: Chinmaya Vidyalaya Conducts CPR Session

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Southpark, empowers Std XII students with CPR training, enhancing emergency response skills.

JAMSHEDPUR – Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Southpark, has taken a significant step towards empowering its students by conducting a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training session for Std XII students.

This initiative aims to equip students with essential lifesaving skills for emergency situations.

CPR, a crucial emergency procedure performed when the heart stops beating, can dramatically increase the chances of survival following a cardiac arrest.

Dr. Pushpa Tiwari, a Clinical Associate with the Tata Steel Foundation, was invited to lead the training session. She brought her extensive experience and knowledge to the session, having been with Tata Steel since 1994.

The session provided students with valuable insights and practical knowledge about CPR.

Such training is critical in preparing young individuals to respond effectively in life-threatening situations.

The school said that the initiative reflects the school’s commitment to not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of its students, including their ability to contribute positively to society in critical moments.

The teachers said that this training at Chinmaya Vidyalaya underscores the growing recognition of the importance of basic medical knowledge and skills in educational curriculums.
