South Eastern Railway (SER) introduces special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja, ensuring convenient travel for passengers during the festive season.
JAMSHEDPUR – South Eastern Railway has announced special train services to accommodate the surge of passengers during Diwali and Chhath Puja.
The 08183/08184 Shalimar-Sitamarhi-Shalimar specials will operate on 12th and 19th November 2023 from Shalimar, reaching Sitamarhi the following day.
The return journey from Sitamarhi to Shalimar is scheduled for 13th and 20th November.
These trains will stop at various key stations including Asansol, Madhupur, and Darbhanga.
Additionally, the 08181/08182 Tatanagar-Chhapra-Tatanagar specials are set to run on 15th and 22nd November from Tatanagar, reaching Chhapra the next morning.
The return trips from Chhapra to Tatanagar are planned for 16th and 23rd November.
These trains will halt at stations like Purulia, Asansol, and Hajipur.
Notably, the 08182 Chhapra-Tatanagar special will not stop at Kandra.
