Massive fire from overturned oil tanker near UP turn of Charhi Ghati in Hazaribagh disrupts NH 33, puts administration on high alert.

HAZARIBAGH – In a tragic turn of events, an oil tanker overturned near the UP turn of Charhi Valley in Hazaribagh district, triggering a devastating blaze.

The fire escalated quickly, covering an area over half a kilometer.

The driver and the helper sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.

The severity of the fire has forced authorities to halt traffic on NH 33 from both directions.

Firefighting efforts are hampered due to the blaze’s intensity, making it too hazardous for even fire brigades to approach.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that both the driver and helper managed to escape the vehicle after the accident.

Sub-Divisional Police Officer, along with a team, is overseeing the situation.

The tanker was en route from Hazaribagh when it hit a divider, leading to the accident and subsequent fire.
