Jharkhand’s Fourth ICT Conclave Explores AI in Manufacturing and Its Impact on the Steel Industry

JAMSHEDPUR – Umesh Singh, Chairman of CII Jamshedpur, welcomed the attendees to the Fourth ICT Conclave held at Beldih Club.
Siddharth Kumar Rai, Additional Director of STPI Ranchi Center, and Dr. Sanjay Patro, Dean of XLRI Jamshedpur, shed light on the challenges and pioneering work in AI.
Sarjit Jha, Convenor of CII ICT Jharkhand, provided insights into the event’s theme, "The Future is Now: Unlocking the Potential of AI for Industries."
Dipankar Chakraborty, Chairman of the ICT Subcommittee at CII Eastern Region, expressed the need for comprehensive AI policies in the industrial sector.
AI’s significant benefits for the steel industry, particularly in optimizing every aspect of production, were also highlighted.
Industry experts shared their views on technology’s future, focusing on the role of AI in various sectors.
Ujjwal Chakraborty, Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council, emphasized the importance of AI in global manufacturing and how it boosts productivity while minimizing environmental impact.
The conclave also addressed how AI is transforming manufacturing in India, concluding with a session on e-governance and successful AI deployment stories.
