Sonari Suicide Case Takes a Turn as Deceased’s Wife Accuses In-Laws of Foul Play
A new twist emerges in the Sonari suicide case as the victim’s wife accuses her in-laws of orchestrating ‘her husband’s death’, contradicting initial suicide reports.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Sonari Bhim Singh suicide case has taken a shocking turn as the wife of the deceased has accused her in-laws for his death.
Bhim, a resident of Bengali Pada in the Sonari police station area, was initially reported to have taken his own life.
However, his wife, Anita Singh, has accused her brother-in-law and mother-in-law of causing death of her husband Bhim and staging his death to appear as a suicide.
Anita, accompanied by her parents, brought her allegations to the Sonari police station on Thursday.
Anita claimed that upon arriving at the station with her complaint, she was shooed away.
She insists that a thorough investigation would reveal the truth of her husband’s untimely death.
According to Anita, Bhim was a key witness in an ongoing murder case and had been receiving threats pressuring him to change his testimony.
Anita further alleges that her brother-in-law had accepted Rs 2 lakh in advance related to this murder case.
Anita was married to Bhim Singh in 2016, but she had been residing with her parents for a year due to persistent domestic violence from her in-laws.
She claims she learned of her husband’s death unexpectedly and was subsequently attacked and threatened by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law when she arrived at her Sonari residence.
The deceased, Bhim Singh, was previously involved in the liquor business but had switched occupations a few months prior to his death, she claimed.
