INDIA Alliance Protests in Jamshedpur over Manipur Incident; Criticizes Central Government

Jamshedpur sees INDIA alliance protesting in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office over the Manipur incident, accusing the central government of negligence.

JAMSHEDPUR – Condemning the recent incident in Manipur, a united front of various political parties rallied together under the banner of INDIA alliance India.

All the allies of the Grand Alliance held a sit-in demonstration in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office of the district to criticise the central government.

The Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Communist Party of India (CPI), and Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) were all present at this one-day ‘Mahadharna.

The representatives of these parties voiced their opposition against the central government in unison, taking aim at both the Manipur and central governments over the incident.

According to the information provided by a Congress party representative, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating Kargil Vijay Diwas, a retired subedar’s wife, who served in the Kargil war, was paraded naked in Manipur.

He added that today, the entire state of Manipur is suffering from flood-like situations.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of the country is abroad and attending election meetings in different states.

He criticized the Prime Minister’s apparent indifference to the incident in Manipur.
