AJSU Chhatra Sangh Opposes Appointment of New Principal in Graduate College for Women, Jamshedpur

AJSU Chhatra Sangh opposes the appointment of Principal Dr. B N Prasad in Jamshedpur Graduate College for Women; promises resistance.

JAMSHEDPUR – A surge of opposition has risen among a group of students belonging to AJSU Chhatra Sangh against the appointment of Dr B N Prasad as the Principal of Graduate College for Women, Jamshedpur.

The state secretary of the AJSU Chhatra Sangh, Deepak Pandey, criticized the decision while speaking to the press and also in a press release.

Pandey stated that it’s unacceptable to appoint Principal Dr B N Prasad, a figure steeped in controversy, to the esteemed position in a women’s college.

He said that there have been allegations of inconsistencies against him during his tenure at various colleges in the city.

Pandey questioned why deserving female professors who have long served the college were overlooked in favor of Prasad.

He warned of resistance from the AJSU Chhatra Sangh if this appointment is pushed through.

The press meet was attended by several student leaders including Deepak Pandey, Rakesh Das, Suraj Singh, Ankur Tiwari, Pradeep Kumar, Saurabh Gupta, Kamal Kumar, Pranav Kumar, and Sunny Kumar.
