Maha Raas Leela, Celestial Wedding Highlight Bhagwat Katha’s Day Six

Devotees at Rajasthan Shiv Mandir, Jugsalai experience a divine celebration on the sixth day of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha.

JAMSHEDPUR – The divine grandeur of the celestial wedding between Lord Shri Krishna and Ma Rukmini marked the highlight of the sixth day of Srimad Bhagwat Katha at Rajasthan Shiv Mandir in Jugsalai.

It was a feast for the eyes as hundreds of devotees, including men, women, and children, reveled in the beautifully enacted nuptial procession and the subsequent ceremonies.

The air was filled with an unending shower of flowers during the Varmala ritual, mirroring the joy of the devotees who danced with joy during the bhajans and hymns that accompanied the grand event.

Dr. Sanjeev Krishna Thakur, the devout cow worshiper and Katha Vachak, offered an emotionally charged narration of the events leading to Ma Rukmini’s wedding, resonating deeply with the audience.

Highlighting the significance of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, he remarked that participating in the divine celebration of Lord Krishna and Rukmini’s wedding can heal marital difficulties.

The narrative will shift its focus to the character of Lord Shri Sudama and the veneration of Sage Vyasa on Monday, July 24, the seventh and final day of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha.

The event will conclude with the completion of the Havan and the offering of Purnahuti.

Organized by the Garhwal family from Thoi, Rajasthan, this Katha in the presence of Dr. Sanjeev Krishna Thakur from Sridham Vrindavan has indeed been a spiritual immersion for the devotees, touching their hearts and uplifting their spirits.
