ISWP Announces Capacity Expansion in Jamshedpur for Meeting Growing Market Needs
Tata Steel’s subsidiary ISWP plans to increase its production capacity at Jamshedpur plants to meet growing market demands, promising to maintain environmental standards.
JAMSHEDPUR – The commitment to uphold environmental standards while pursuing expansion plans is a key focus for Indian Steel & Wire Products (ISWP), a subsidiary of Tata Steel.
As it embarks on the path of expansion, ISWP asserts its dedication to maintaining environmental standards.
The company, in a statement, said that the belief at ISWP is that growth and sustainability are inseparable. The company pledges to make optimal use of its current facilities and resources.
Part of this sustainability effort includes using a water recycling facility, low-noise technology, and advanced pollution control equipment as the firm strives to operate in an environmentally sustainable way.
ISWP’s primary focus in this expansion is to elevate the Rebars & Wire Rods capacity from 2,67,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA) to 4,75,200 TPA through debottlenecking and process improvement.
Also, the company aims to augment the HC & MS GI Wires capacity from 62,050 TPA to 2,37,600 TPA using state-of-the-art equipment within the existing premises in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
This expansion will help ISWP cater to the escalating market needs, embodying Tata Steel’s tradition of excellence and commitment to long-term growth.
