Jamshedpur Devotees Stranded in Amarnath due to Snowfall and Rain
Devotees from Jamshedpur city are stuck in Amarnath amidst snowfall and rain, with around 30 people stranded for 28 days. The stranded individuals have sent videos to local media asking for help.
JAMSHEDPUR – Unfavorable weather conditions, including snowfall and rain since July 6th, have resulted in many Jamshedpur residents being stuck in Amarnath.
They were on their journey to the famous Hindu shrine for the Amarnath Yatra. A total of 100 people from the city had been allowed to embark on the pilgrimage.

Magan Lal Sharma, a resident of Baridih, released a video on the morning of July 8th, detailing the current situation there. He mentioned that the group has been stranded in Panchsar since July 6th after visiting the Amarnath cave.
According to him, no provisions have been made to evacuate the stranded pilgrims, who number between five and seven thousand.

The ongoing Bhandara in Panchsar offers some relief to the stranded people. Announcements are being made through a loudspeaker advising passengers not to leave the location and to stay in their tents.
Many stranded people have lost their helicopter tickets due to the delay, and others have missed their scheduled flights and trains, resulting in financial losses.
