Ratan Tata’s Appeal for Vehicle Checks to Protect Animals During Monsoon Goes Viral

Ratan Tata’s Tweet gets 18 lakh views within Hours, urges vehicle owners to check beneath their cars for sheltering animals before starting the engine in the monsoon season.

JAMSHEDPUR – As the monsoon season continues, Ratan Tata, Emeritus Chairman of Tata Sons, has made an appeal for the safety of stray animals.

His simple heart-touching appeal has now gone viral around the world within hours.

People have liked his appeal immensely and are appreciating his kindness toward animals.

In his tweet, he wrote: “Now that the monsoons are here, a lot of stray cats and dogs take shelter under our cars. It is important to check under our car before we turn it on and accelerate to avoid injuries to stray animals taking shelter. They can be seriously injured, handicapped and even killed if we are unaware of their presence under our vehicles. It would be heartwarming if we could all offer them temporary shelter when it is pouring this season.”

This appeal was warmly received on social media.

By 1.10 am India time, that is in around 12 hours, on Instagram, it garnered over 1.3 million likes and more than 9,358 comments.

On Twitter, more than 1.8 million views were seen, while it got 43.1 thousand like too.

Ratan Tata is known for his love for dogs, especially stray dogs.
