Tribal Organizations Take Out Rally on Hul Kranti Diwas in Jamshedpur
Jharkhand pays tribute to its immortal martyrs, Sido-Kanhu, Chand-Bhairav, and Phulo-Jhano, on Hool Revolution Day. A rally led by Adivasi Yuva Sangathan sends a message of unity and cultural preservation.
JAMSHEDPUR – Today, the state of Jharkhand is observing Hul Kranti Diwas, a day to honor the memory of its immortal martyrs Sido-Kanhu, Chand-Bhairav, and Phulo-Jhano.
These brave figures gave their lives in 1855 to protect Jharkhand’s water, forests, and land.
The Hul Revolution, under the leadership of Bravehearts Sido-Kanhu, started on this day in history and is commemorated each year in Jharkhand.
In the steel city of Jamshedpur, the occasion was marked by a unity rally organized by tribal organizations.
Under the banner of the Adivasi Yuva Sangathan, the rally began from Shukrudih in Parsudih and concluded at Shaheed Sido-Kanhu Chowk in Birsanagar.
The rally participants paid tribute to the statues of martyrs placed at various squares throughout the city.
Arun Murmu of the Tribal Youth Organization spoke on the purpose of the rally, stating that it aims to unite tribal youth and preserve the culture of Jharkhand.
