RANCHI – On the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, electricity has finally reached Gadai Diyara in Sahebganj after Independence. Due to the relentless efforts of the Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Corporation Ltd., about 210 houses in the village/tola have been electrified. The villages are situated across the Ganges river.

Cross-River Electrification

All the blocks of the Gadai Diyara area are located on the other side of the river Ganga. The corporation has electrified the region by installing an 11 KV line, 08 km LT line, and 16 transformers. This development has brought a sense of joy and happiness among the residents.

Impact on Agriculture

The inhabitants of Gadai Diyara rely solely on agriculture. The arrival of electricity in such an area will offer substantial aid to the farmers. Notably, all the electrification work was carried out via boat.
