Infrastructure Key for Development and Investment: RSB MD SK Behera

RSB Managing Director, SK Behera highlights the importance of good infrastructure, including roads and airport, for development and investment in any city, in a recent media interaction in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – Good infrastructure is crucial for city development and investment, stated RSB Managing Director SK Behera during a media interaction today in Jamshedpur.

He emphasized the need for a robust airport, well-structured roads, and a seamless transport system.

Mr. Behera disclosed that he had spoken to Chief Minister Hemant Soren about investment prospects in Jharkhand.

The CM advised initiating steps to extend the existing airport in Jamshedpur to accommodate larger aircraft.

Alternatively, he suggested proceeding with the Dhalbhumgarh project to establish a new airport.

By 2040, all vehicles are predicted to transition to an alternate mode, Behera noted.

Tata Motors is leading the way in producing electric cars, selling between 5000 to 6000 units per month, reflecting the growing demand for electric vehicles.

However, the switch to electric commercial vehicles will be slower.

The RSB MD urged the Jharkhand government to promote current industries as a healthy industry ecosystem attracts further investment.

RSB, operating 13 plants, including four in Jamshedpur and one abroad, aims to establish a Super Specialty Hospital.

Mr. Behera dreams of a hospital offering services so efficient that queues become redundant.
