State-Level Protest Against Police Intervention on Agitating Students in Jamshedpur

AIDSO Jharkhand State Committee organizes demonstrations across the state.

JAMSHEDPUR – The All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO) Jharkhand State Committee is commemorating a state-level protest day against the police’s forceful intervention on protesting students and the incarceration of student leaders.

As part of the protest, an effigy of the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) President Anil Kumar Mahato was set ablaze at Sakchi Golchakkar.

Rinki Bansiyar, State Vice President of the organization, ignited the effigy while present student leaders chanted slogans opposing the JAC President’s attitude and police intervention in democratic student movements.

City President Shubham Kumar Jha expressed his condemnation of such actions taken by the JAC President.

He further demanded immediate action on the students’ requests and prompt release of the detained student leaders. He warned that failure to address these demands would broaden the protest across the state.

Today, the AIDSO Jharkhand State Committee is observing a protest day statewide. State Vice President Rinki Bansiyar, State Treasurer Yudhishthir Kumar, District Secretary Soni Sengupta, City President Shubham Kumar Jha, Secretary Savita Soren, Kameshwar Prasad, Babita Soren, Jharna Mahato, Vandana Manjhi, Vishal, Apoorva, Rahul, Kajal, Suryakant, Sneha, Vikash, Sheetal, Suryakant, Aniket, Khudiram Hasda, and Rajesh Gop attended today’s event.
