The residents of Om Shanti Nagar in East Ghaghidih Panchayat now have a newly inaugurated 200 KV transformer in their community. Zilla Parishad member Smt. Purnima Mallick had the honour of inaugurating the significant piece of infrastructure.
JAMSHEDPUR – The new transformer replaces a 100 KV unit that had burned out. After the incident, local villagers informed Smt. Mallick of the situation, who then contacted the executive engineer of the electricity department.
Acting on her request, the department installed a more powerful 200 KV transformer, which was officially inaugurated today.
Several community leaders and members were present at the inauguration ceremony, including Mahendra Alda, village head Jagdish, Amit Bhumij, Manik Malik, Radha Chakraborty, and Supriya Das.
This move not only restored power to the village but also provideD an improved capacity, which would now serve the community’s electrical needs.
