Desk – The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, demonstrated his spiritual devotion by performing a Puja at the Pushkar temple earlier today.

The event was steeped in reverential ambience, as the Prime Minister offered prayers for the country’s welfare.

Following the ceremony at the temple, PM Modi took to Twitter to express his spiritual experience and extend well wishes to his countrymen.

He tweeted, “Had the good fortune of worshipping and having divine darshan at Lord Brahma’s temple in Pushkar. Wishing the countrymen good health, prosperity and well-being.”

While the nation still echoed with the resonance of his spiritual engagement, PM Modi switched gears to remind citizens of the upcoming 9th International Day of Yoga on June 21st. Advocating for the ancient practice that uplifts mental and physical well-being, he urged people to join in the global event.

Responding to a tweet by the Ministry of Ayush, the Prime Minister further emphasized on the importance of Yoga and its role in creating a healthier society.

He noted, “Just three weeks left for International Yoga Day! Let us gear up and celebrate this ancient practice that enhances our mental and physical well-being. Let us create a healthier and happier society.”

The Prime Minister’s commitment to promoting Yoga as a means for a healthier society is in alignment with his vision for a prosperous nation. With the International Day of Yoga approaching, the message serves as a timely reminder of the significant role Yoga plays in overall well-being.
