Bhumihar Yuva Sena demands release of YouTuber Manish Kashyap, burns Nitish Kumar’s effigy in Sakchi

Jamshedpur: The issue of the arrest of Manish Kashyap, a well-known YouTuber from Bihar, has evoked strong protests from the members of Bhumihar community in Jamshedpur.

The Jamshedpur unit of Bhumihar Yuva Sena has demanded the release of journalist Manish Kashyap by burning an effigy of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Sakchi Gol Chakkar. The protestors said that Kashyap was unfairly harassed by the Bihar government, and the Sena members demanded his immediate release.

They said that Kashyap, a trustworthy journalist and YouTuber, was being pursued for doing his job.

The Sena issued a warning that if Kashyap was not released soon, they would intensify their protest.

Tripurari Kumar Tiwari, also known as Manish Kashyap, is in the eye of a storm and his arrest has seen sharp reaction from his supporters and admirers.

The well-known YouTuber, who has previously been involved in a number of legal disputes and controversies, was recently detained by the Bihar Police.

He was charged with allegedly using fake footage and fake news for spreading rumors that immigrants were being assaulted in Tamil Nadu.

He had surrendered last Saturday at the Jagdishpur police station in West Champaran district. Since then demands are being made by his supporters to release him and his supporters are claiming that he is being wrongly implicated for doing his job honestly.
