Missing woman’s body found hanging from tree in Seraikela forest, murder suspected

Seraikela: A missing woman’s body was found hanging from a tree in a forest near Lakhna Singh valley in Seraikela.

The deceased woman was missing since December 25 last and a missing report had already been registered with the Chowka police station.

Early in the morning, workers on a nearby road construction project discovered the body. The incident has shocked the entire community of the area, and police are currently investigating the incident.

C Mahto, a Matkamdih resident who had been reported missing since December 25th, has been identified as the deceased woman.

The police believe she has been murdered.

Prior to her body being discovered, the woman’s son and relatives were called to the scene and they identified the dead body.

The relatives said that the woman was missing and a missing person’s report had been filed with the Chowka police.

Following the incident, a huge crowd gathered on the scene.
