Tata Steel Karate Training Centre cadets bring laurels

KTC cadets win 9 medals including 4 Gold during all India Championship

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Karate Training Centre cadets won total nine medals during the recently concluded All India Karate Championship organised by the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association.

The tournament approved by the Karate Association of India was held at Indoor Stadium State Training Centre, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) on July 15-16. Total 15 cadets from Tata Steel Karate Training Centre participated in the Championship.

The winner cadets include Karnisha Das, Yashasvi Yadav, Avinash Raj, Pranab Paul, Ishaan Singh and Shristy Singh. The medals included four Gold, two Silver and three Bronze.

Tata Steel Sports Department officials have congratulated the cadets who participated and won medals during the tournament during a function graced by Ashish Kumar, Head Sports, Tata Steel and L Nageshwar Rao, Coach, Tata Steel Karate Training Centre.
