Tejasvi Yadav questions Draupadi Murmu’s volubility, gets schooled by Netizens

RJD leader’s remarks on Draupadi Murmu sparks off a meme volley on internet

Desk: Tejasvi Yadav, the RJD leader and son of RJD supremo Laloo Yadav, is the latest among those who have questioned the credentials of NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu.

In a remark reported by ANI, Tejasvi Yadav has compared Draupadi Murmu’s silence on public issues with that of volubility of Yashwant Sinha.

However, the netizens were quick to remind him of his own mother’s credentials who was not very known for her volubility either and yet made it to the chief minister’s post.

There were some who even questioned his own proficiency in speaking publicly. Some even mocked his educational credentials.

Smita Prakash of ANI herself reminded Tejasvi Yadav about his mother’s volubility and remarked: “Don’t underestimate the less voluble in politics.”

There was even one netizen who posted a video showing Tejasvi Yadav reading out a written speech where he got stuck several times. He remarked: “We heard you…”

One netizen Subham posted a meme saying, “Truth does not belong to the one who shouts the loudest.”

Another user posted a news clipping in which Yashwant Sinha was shown with not a very charitable remark on Laloo Yadav himself. And the twitter can’t stop laughing.

Another twitter user posted a screenshot of a Yashwant Sinha tweet in which he was rather too loose in reacting to someone on Twitter and even used the word ‘chutia’ in print, whatever that means in Hindi.
