Hindu Yuva Vahini wants Mandirs reopened in Jharkhand

A delegation of Hindu Yuva Vahini protested before DC Office and submitted a memorandum addressed to Governor demanding that Mandirs be reopened.

Jamshedpur: A delegation of Hindu Yuva Vahini has submitted a memorandum to the Governor of Jharkhand through the Deputy Commissioner demanding that all the Mandirs of Jharkhand be reopened for devotees and darshan.

The memorandum says that the Mandir have closed during Corona pandemic for the last one and a half years and this is causing problems to the devotees in all parts of the state.

On Monday, a number of activists of Hindu Yuva Vahini protested in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on this issue.

Hindu Yuva Vahini District President Satish Singh said that as soon as Covid-19 pandemic subsided a little, all the government office were opened. He said that all establishments from liquor shops to the markets, malls, schools and colleges have been opened. However, he said, the government has not yet issued orders to open Mandirs.

He charged the state government with meting out a step motherly treatment to Hindus on all issues.

He said that a memorandum has been submitted to the Governor urging him to ensure that the Mandirs too are opened in the state so that devotees can go about their religious activities in a normal way.
