31 days of no corona death in Jamshedpur, 4 new cases on Tuesday

Jamshedpur: No coronavirus related death was reported from anywhere in East Singhbhum district on Tuesday. For the last 31 days, East Singhbhum district has not reported even a single death due to coronavirus. During the last 66 days, the district has reported only 1 death due to coronavirus.

Only 4 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected on Tuesday in East Singhbhum district as the day passed off without any pandemic-related death being reported from anywhere in the district.

Tuesday was the 31st straight day of no corona death in East Singhbhum district as the death toll for the district remained static at 375 at the end of the day.

As per official data, 4 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. With this, the total number of infected persons in the district has now reached 18,131. On the other hand, 7 persons were also cured and discharged. The total number of recoveries in the district has now reached 17,702.

For now, the district has only 54 active cases.

According to official data, the recovery rate for the district has now reached 97.66%, while the mortality rate is hovering around 2.07%. The positivity rate for the district till Thursday end was 3.32%
