6 arrested in Sitaramdera’s Pradeep Singh murder case

Jamshedpur: The city police have cracked the case of Pradeep Singh murder and have arrested and sent to jail six accused in this connection.

The SSP Prabhat Kumar today confirmed that six people have been arrested with weapons and have been sent to jail.

The six accused were caught by the Sitaramdera police station with firearms.

They were sent to jail for their involvement in the murder of Pradeep Singh.

According to the SSP, the murder was premeditated and the outcome of a social media argument.

The SSP said that Rahul Kumar Singh alias Munna, one of the suspects, planned a scheme to lure Pradeep to the Sitaramdera police station area with the aid of a lady.

The SSP said that Rahul, along with William Kumar Kar, Ravi Yadav, Rahul Kumar Sharma, and Abhishek Kumar, all of whom lived in separate locations, opened fire on Pradeep and killed him.

According to the SSP Pradeep Kumar Singh too had a prior police record and had been released from prison 15 days before the murder.

The SSP said Rahul Kumar Singh and Pradeep Singh got into an argument on social media two days before the murder.

Rahul summoned Pradeep to Sitaramdera with the aid of one B Singh, a lady from Mango, and killed him there with the aid of his accomplices.

The SSP said that a police team was formed under the leadership of the City SP. The police team registered a case based on the statement of Pradeep Singh’s brother and finally arrested the six accused.

The SSP said that three locally manufactured handguns with a 7.65 magazine, 12 live rounds, one cartridge, three bikes and three mobile phones were also seized from their possession.
