No corona death in Jamshedpur for 26 days, 10 new cases on Thursday

Jamshedpur: Only 10 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected on Thursday in East Singhbhum district as the day passed off without any pandemic-related death being reported from anywhere in the district.

Thursday was the 26th straight day of no corona death in East Singhbhum district as the death toll for the district remained static at 375 at the end of the day.

As per official data, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. With this, the total number of infected persons in the district has now reached 18,097. On the other hand, 6 persons were also cured and discharged. The total number of recoveries in the district has now reached 17,662.

For now, the district has only 60 active cases.

According to official data, the recovery rate for the district has now reached 97.65%, while the mortality rate is hovering around 2.07%. The positivity rate for the district till Thursday end was 3.36%
