JMM workers demonstrate at Karandih against attack on CM’s cavalcade in Ranchi

Jamshedpur: JMM leaders and supporters today took out a rally against the attack on the Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s cavalcade in Ranchi. JMM supporters demonstrated in Karandih and urged the DGP of the state to take action against the people who were involved in the attack on the CM’s cavalcade.

The JMM workers led by Bahadur Kisku, president of Jamshedpur block of JMM today took out a rally in Karandih and demonstrated at Karandih Chowk.

They said that if the police fails in identifying the culprits and punishing them, their party would be forced to launch a militant agitation.

It may be added here that a crowd had gathered after heinous rape and murder of a girl in Ormanjhi in Ranchi.

The irate crowd had allegedly stopped the cavalcade of the Chief Minister and some people had also allegedly pelted stones injuring several persons.

The security forces had taken the Chief Minister away from the crowd after a lot of effort using another route.
