19 days of no corona death in Jamshedpur, 15 fresh cases

Jamshedpur: No death has been caused by coronavirus on Sunday. This was 19th consecutive day when no corona-caused death was reported in East Singhbhum district.

According to official data, the total death toll due to coronavirus remains at 374 for the 19th consecutive day.

However, 15 fresh cases of coronavirus infection were detected on Sunday in the district taking the total number of positive cases till date in the district to 17,489.

On the other hand, 18 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals. With this, the total recoveries in the district have reached 16,910.

As per official data, the district has tested 4,55,104 samples till date. Out of these, 4,37,615 samples tested negative and 17,489 samples have tested positive.

The district has only 205 active cases of coronavirus infections till date.

The recovery rate for the district is at 97%, while the mortality is 2.1%. The positivity rate has further slipped down to 3.8%.
