Congress OBC Cell protests against Hathras crime, burns UP CM’s effigy

Jamshedpur: Congress (OBC Cell) workers and supporters today demonstrated against Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh and burnt his effigy and shouted slogans against him to protest the alleged rape and murder of a minor in Hathras of Uttar Pradesh.

A large number of Congress OBC Cell workers gathered at the Sakchi Gol Chakkar and staged a demonstration against Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh. They also burnt the effigy of UP CM.

The district president of Congress OBC Cell Dharmendra Sonkar said that Yogi Adityanath government has been unable to handle law and order. The government, he charged, did not even hand over the dead body of the victim to the family.

He said that no top BJP leader has even condoled her death. He said that this shows their abject mentality and his party would continue opposing the UP government.
