78 fresh cases in Jamshedpur, total infections 1266

Jamshedpur: 78 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum on Friday taking the total number of infections to 1266 now. Two persons also died today in TMH taking the total death toll for the city to 28.

The newly positive cases are being admitted in the hospitals for treatment..

Meanwhile the administration has appealed to the people of the district to continue maintaining social distancing, not venture out of their houses unnecessarily and keep washing their hands regularly.

The state government has also made wearing of masks mandatory and has warned that those who do not wear mask in public would be penalised.
