14 DTO employees, 9 police personnel, 2 doctors, 29 others positive in East Singhbhum, total now 875

Jamshedpur: Corona has started spreading its wings in East Singhbhum district now. On Sunday, 54 new Covid-19 positive patients were found in the district. Out of these as may as 51 have had no travel history. Only 3 patients have come from Bihar, Maharashtra or Ranchi

The infected persons include 14 employees of the DTO office.

Earlier, 3 employees of the DTO office, including the DTO, have tested positive.

One doctor and one technician deployed at virology lab of MGMCH too have tested positive.

Another doctor deputed at Covid ward of MGMCH too has tested positive.

Another employee of Golmuri police station has been found positive. The police station itself has been sealed and would be sanitised on Monday.

9 police jawans of SSP office and Golmuri police lines too have been found infected.

In Telco, 11 members of a single family have tested positive.

Employees of JNAC and MNAC too have tested positive and they are being treated.

A few have also been home quarantined. The total number of patients in the district has now reached 875.
