DC inspects micro-containment zone in Bagbera

Extensive sanitisation of vegetable markets done in city

Jamshedpur: The Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Mr. Ravi Shankar Shukla, today inspected the micro-containment zone created in Bagbera. This containment zone has been created to quarantine those people who live in the neighbourhood of Covid-19 positive persons.

The administration has appealed to all residents of the district to comply with social distancing norms, not go out unnecessarily and continue using masks and sanitizers.

Meanwhile, on the instructions of the DC, an extensive sanitization drive was launched in different vegetable markets in different areas of the city under all three local bodies.

The DC has ordered that the vegetable markets would remain closed each week from Saturday 3 p.m. till Sunday 7 p.m.

The sanitization drive was conducted by the special officer of JNAC Mr. Krishna Kumar, Executive Officer of Jugsalai municipality Mr. Jagdish Yadav and Executive Officer of MNAC, Mr Ravindra Gagrai.
