Corona situation turns serious, Admn launches special campaign

Jamshedpur: Seeing the grave turn in Corona situation in the city, the district administration has launched a special campaign to thwart the transmission of the disease.

The SDO and the officials of JNAC have told the street vendors and juice sellers to not open their shops from tomorrow till further instructions.

All roadside shops would be disallowed to open. All businesses would have to abide by social distancing norms. Hotels would only be allowed to supply takeaway food. No one would be allowed to eat on hotel ore eatery premises.

The administration has also made it clear that strict action would be taken against those who indulge in double riding or go out without wearing mask.

At the same time, a special campaign would also be launched between 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. so that all those whole violate social distancing and safety norms be made to face legal action.
