RANCHI – Tight security measures have been implemented for the much-anticipated hockey clash between India and Germany, scheduled to commence at 7:30 pm today.

In this crucial encounter, both teams, having showcased formidable performances, seek to extend their winning streaks.

Germany, boasting two victories and a draw, goes head-to-head with India, which has triumphed in two out of three matches, despite one defeat.

This high-stakes match is part of the Olympic hockey qualifier, where India and Germany both eye a win to advance further.

Earlier today, other international teams have graced the field, with America and Japan clashing at 4:30 pm.

The second match of the day featured New Zealand versus Czech Republic, kicking off at 1:30 pm.

Starting the day’s sporting festivities, Chile faced Italy at 10.30 am in the inaugural match.
