Ravi Shankar and Deepak Dubey Appointed in Key Arm Wrestling Roles

New Leadership for Jharkhand Arm Wrestling Association Announced in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur’s Ravi Shankar and Deepak Dubey take on significant roles in the Arm Wrestling Association, signaling a positive future for the sport in Jharkhand.

JAMSHEDPUR -Ravi Shankar, a senior martial arts instructor from Jamshedpur, has been appointed as the President of the Arm Wrestling Association of Jharkhand.

Deepak Dubey, a resident of Jamtara and Secretary of the Jamtara Olympic Association, has assumed the role of General Secretary.

These appointments were made by Manoj Nair, General Secretary of the Indian Arm Wrestling Federation.

Nair expressed his full confidence in the abilities of both Shankar and Dubey.

He anticipates improved operations of the Arm Wrestling Association across all Jharkhand districts under their leadership.

Dayal Singh Mehra, a physical education teacher from Shri Krishna Public School in Bistupur, felicitated Ravi Shankar with a bouquet at Rajendra Bhawan, Golmuri.

The ceremony was attended by numerous athletes, including Samriddhi Mishra, Soni Kumari, and Aditya Kumar Nag.

Parents and other community members also participated in the event, marking a significant milestone for the sport in the region.
