Jamshedpur's Inter School Artist 'Rainbow' Fest a Grand Success

Rainbow Fest at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Witnesses Diverse Artistic Talents from City Schools

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur, hosted the vibrant Inter School Artist ‘Rainbow’ Festival, showcasing an array of artistic talents from local schools.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Inter School Artist ‘Rainbow’ Festival, a grand event celebrating young talent, was hosted at Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Bistupur South Park.

The festival, held on November 11, 2023, saw participation from 250 children across 13 city schools.

The renowned artist Mr. Arjun Das, gracing the event as the chief guest, inaugurated the fest with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony.

The highlight of the event was a captivating Chhau dance performance by Nataraj Art Center Chauga Ichagarh artists. Competitions across various artistic categories, including Fun with Clay, Master Stroke, Stone Art, Brush Magic, Acrylic Bow, Face Painting, Live Study, and Fruit and Vegetable Art, saw enthusiastic participation. The jury, comprising Mr. Ashok Maiti, Mr. Anup Singh, and Biplab Rai, evaluated the enthralling entries.

Mr. Das, in his address, commended the participants’ efforts and extended special thanks to the Chhau dance artists. Mr. Tamal Sen Gupta, the art teacher at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, played a pivotal role in organizing the event, supported by the principal, teachers, and the school executive committee. D.A.V. Bistupur emerged as the overall champion of Rainbow Fest.

The event was a kaleidoscope of creativity, with schools like JISCO School South Park, Srinath Public School, AIWC Academy of Excellence, and RMS Sonari showcasing their artistic prowess in various categories.
