Father Reports Daughter’s Social Withdrawal Before Alleged Suicide in Parsudih, Jamshedpur
Young woman in Jamshedpur found dead; Father says she had been silent and withdrawn for the past month, police conduct post-mortem, case of unnatural death filed.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a disheartening incident, C Satyarthi, the 22-year-old daughter of D Satyarthi, was found dead in her residence near United Company, located close to Golpahari Temple in the Parsudih area.
The tragic event reportedly occurred on Saturday afternoon.
After the incident, she was rushed to Sadar Hospital, where subsequent medical examination declared her dead.
The police conducted a post-mortem on Sunday and handed over the body to the grieving family.
A case of unnatural death has been registered based on a statement provided by her father, D Satyarthi.
The young woman was pursuing a BA degree and according to her father, had been in a withdrawn state, not talking to anyone for the past month.
On the ill-fated Saturday, she went into her room and allegedly hanged herself.
