GAMHARIA – Apprehensions are rising after three Bihari hawkers were found murdered in Chaibasa, sparking calls for swift justice.
The gruesome incident took place two days ago in the Gudri area of Chaibasa, where three hawkers from Bihar were killed by having their heads crushed with stones.
The bodies of Rakesh Kumar, aged 26, and his brother, Ramesh Kumar, 22, both from Shivhar district, and 24-year-old Tulsi Kumar from Motihari were discovered by the riverside near Jatarma village on Tuesday.
The murders have caused widespread panic, with many hawkers fleeing the region.
The victims were door-to-door salesmen who sold clothes in nearby villages.
Meanwhile, Mantu Dubey, President of the Gau Raksha Dal, Singhbhum, condemned the murders and criticized the government, stating, “This incident shows a complete failure of the state’s administration."
He further claimed that such acts aim to disrupt social harmony, urging for an immediate high-level investigation.
