Committee to expand soon, focus on addressing issues in various settlements

JAMSHEDPUR – Basti Vikas Samiti elects Pawan Agarwal as new central president during a crucial meeting, plans committee expansion.

In a significant meeting of the Basti Vikas Samiti, senior leader Pawan Agarwal was unanimously elected as the new central president.

The meeting, attended by outgoing president Khemlal Chaudhary, Ram Babu Tiwari, and other senior members, discussed the organization’s future plans and activities.

It was decided that the committee would be expanded within the next week to enhance its effectiveness and engage various social groups.

Members agreed on organizing various social and cultural programs during the meeting.

The committee praised the contributions of outgoing president Khemlal Chaudhary and requested his continued guidance.

Plans were made for awareness campaigns, health camps, de-addiction drives, environmental conservation, and cultural events in different areas of the settlement.

Newly appointed central president Pawan Agarwal stated, "We will work diligently to meet the committee’s expectations. Our main objective is not only to develop the settlement but also to preserve its social and cultural heritage."

He emphasized that with public cooperation and member participation, the committee will actively address issues in various settlements.

Outgoing president Khemlal Chaudhary said, "The committee’s goal is not only to promote physical development but also to foster social harmony and cultural unity. Basti Vikas Samiti has been effectively fulfilling its role for many years."

Senior leader Ram Babu Tiwari expressed confidence in the new leadership, stating, "Under Pawan Agarwal’s guidance, the committee has resolved to move forward with renewed energy, which will prove to be a milestone for the development and welfare of the settlement."

The meeting was attended by prominent members including Chandrashekhar Mishra, Gunjan Yadav, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Rakesh Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Boltu Sarkar, Amarjeet Singh Raja, Sushant Panda, Kamlesh Singh, and Jitendra Mishra, among others.
