Kuldeep Singh Gill Appointed New Head of Baridih Gurudwara Committee

Sangat resolves leadership confusion, appoints new head of Baridih Gurudwara Managing Committee.

Sardar Kuldeep Singh Gill has been made the new head of Shri Guru Nanak Sabha Baridih Gurudwara Managing Committee, ending months of confusion.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sardar Kuldeep Singh Gill has been appointed as the new head of Shri Guru Nanak Sabha Baridih Gurudwara Managing Committee.

The Sangat of the area made this decision to end the confusion that had persisted for several months.

On Friday at 11 o’clock, more than a hundred members of the Sangat gathered at the Gurudwara.

They summoned the committee chairperson Bibi Kamaljit Kaur Gill and head Kulwinder Singh.

Kulwinder Singh, who was in Orissa, was represented by Kamaljit Kaur, former president Sardar Kartar Singh, and other office bearers in the presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib.

Addressing Development Concerns

The Sangat expressed concerns over the lack of development work for the past eight months due to internal conflicts within the Gurudwara Committee.

Repeated requests to the Central Gurudwara Managing Committee for resolution had led to a state of stagnation.

The Sangat decided that a new Pradhan should be elected in the presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj to lead without bias and uphold the dignity and ideals of the Guru’s house.

Baba Niranjan Singh prayed for the formation of the new committee.

New Leadership

Sardar Kuldeep Singh Gill, known for his role as Vice President in various committees and his association with the Dharm Prachar Akali Dal, was proposed and unanimously accepted by the Sangat.

The gathering chanted, "Jo Bole So Nihal Sat Sri Akal" in approval.

Baba Ji prayed to Waheguru to bless the new committee and the Sangat.

Commitment to Development

The new Pradhan, Kuldeep Singh Gill, assured the Sangat of his commitment to inclusivity and completing the pending works of the Gurudwara.

The Sangat demanded that the old Pradhan, Kulwinder Singh, hand over the charge to the new Pradhan within a week, insisting that this time the decision of the Sangat must be respected.

Kuldeep Singh Gill has remained above factionalism and is regarded as close to key figures like Sardar Inderjit Singh, General Secretary of Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib, Sardar Bhagwan Singh, President of the Central Gurdwara Committee, and Sardar Shailendra Singh, Chairman.
