Mittal and Kumar Intensify Preparations for Polling Teams’ Departure in East Singhbhum

Election Officials Ensure Readiness for May 25 Vote Through Comprehensive Inspections

Preparations for the departure of polling parties have intensified in East Singhbhum district with the Lok Sabha elections approaching.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer Ananya Mittal and Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar conducted a thorough inspection of the material warehouse and the district control room to ensure readiness for the May 25 vote.

Mittal and Kumar visited the material warehouse, where preparations for dispatching polling teams on May 24 are progressing.

They reviewed the packaging process for materials to be distributed to polling personnel.

The inspection included checking the quality and completeness of items in the packets.

Items include instruction books for presiding officers, electronic voting machines (EVMs), forms and envelopes for statutory and non-statutory packets, pens, pins, indelible ink, metal seals, posters, and other essential materials.

Officers verified that packets for the Legislative Assembly were accurate and instructed the team to ensure all materials are ready on time.

Mittal emphasized close monitoring and efficient coordination, recognizing the critical nature of the final 72 hours before voting.

He inspected the District Control Room to ensure personnel readiness.

Directives were issued for the control room to supervise Flying Squad Teams (FST) and Static Surveillance Teams (SST).

Mittal stressed vehicle checks at permanent checkpoints and urged personnel to share significant information promptly with the flying squad team.

He outlined control room responsibilities for voting day to ensure a smooth election process.

Instructions regarding the departure of polling parties were discussed.

Guidelines were provided to ensure polling teams are dispatched efficiently and supported by the control room on voting day.

The inspection and focus on stringent monitoring highlight the district administration’s commitment to free, fair, and peaceful elections in East Singhbhum.
