Kalpana Soren Advocates for Tribal and Minority Rights in Upcoming Elections

Kalpana Murmu Soren rallied the people of Singhbhum to stand firm in the upcoming elections to protect the rights of tribals, Dalits, and minorities from what she described as oppressive forces.

CHAIBASA – During a spirited assembly, Kalpana Soren highlighted the critical nature of the upcoming elections, calling on Singhbhum’s residents to defend their community rights against encroachments.

She lauded the welfare initiatives implemented by Hemant Soren’s administration, sharply criticizing the BJP for their policies, which she claimed threaten to erode these advances.

Urging a strong turnout at the polls, Kalpana championed the Bow and Arrow emblem, symbolizing resistance against oppression, specifically pointing to the election date of May 13.

Kalpana drew attention to the BJP’s perceived disregard for tribal concerns, using the situation in Manipur as a stark reminder of the party’s broader indifference to tribal issues.

She also spoke passionately about the unjust imprisonment of Hemant Soren and the broader attempt to stifle dissent, urging the community to stand united in the face of such challenges.

Emphasizing the significance of having advocates for tribal rights in Parliament, Kalpana called on voters to support candidates like Joba Majhi who align with Hemant Soren’s vision for an inclusive government.

A local leader, reflecting on Kalpana’s words, stated, "We need leaders who truly represent us and will fight for our rights in the face of adversity."
