JAMSHEDPUR – The steering committee for Domuhani Sangam Mahotsav 2026 held a comprehensive meeting at Parisadan Conference Hall.

Hindu Utsav Samiti and Ummeed Ek Abhiyan are jointly organizing the festival. The event is scheduled for January 13-14, 2026. Moreover, organizers aim to make it more impactful this year.

The meeting focused on creating detailed strategies for the festival. Participants discussed enhancing grandeur and public participation. However, comprehensive planning ensures successful execution.

Committee members reviewed the complete festival framework. Program sequences and formats were finalized. In addition, financial resource arrangements were discussed.

The list of special guests to be invited was prepared. Social, cultural, and environmental organizations to be honored were identified. Furthermore, detailed deliberations covered multiple aspects.

Various committees were formed for smooth operations. Coordinators and co-coordinators were appointed for each committee. Besides, responsibilities were clearly assigned to members.

Publicity and awareness strategies were discussed extensively. Media coordination plans were finalized. On the other hand, volunteer roles were clearly defined.

Local participation strengthening measures were outlined. The committee resolved to elevate the festival’s significance. Moreover, it will represent faith, environment, culture, and tourism convergence.

Ravi Prakash Singh, Hindu Utsav Samiti president, jointly conducted the meeting. Sukhdev Singh, Ummeed Ek Abhiyan president, co-chaired the session. Meanwhile, Amarnath delivered the vote of thanks.

Key attendees included Manoj Singh and Dr. Rajiv Kumar. Shivshankar Singh, Dharmendra Sonkar, and Kavita Parmar participated. Furthermore, Jammu Wale Baba and Kanhaiya Singh attended.

Shankar Reddy, Gopal Jaiswal, and Shivprakash Sharma were present. Manju Ji, Mrityunjay Singh, and Ajay Agrawal joined the meeting. In addition, Sunny Singh and Ajitesh Ujjain contributed.

Roshan Khan, Sonu Thakur, and Sagar Rai attended. Ravishankar Pandey, Abhishek Singh, and Indrajit Singh participated. Besides, Rahul Ji and Santosh Verma were present.

Aditya Verma and Amit Dubey also joined the discussions. The committee will be further expanded soon. However, core team structure is now in place.

The committee expressed confidence in the festival’s success. Administrative support and public cooperation remain crucial. Moreover, collaborative efforts will ensure smooth execution.

Previous editions of Domuhani Sangam Mahotsav have attracted thousands. The annual festival features grand Ganga Aarti ceremonies. Additionally, devotees take holy dips in Swarnrekha and Kharkai rivers.
