MLA Purnima Das Sahu Supports Winter Relief Initiative

JAMSHEDPUR – A women’s social organization distributed 500 blankets in Bhuiyandih today as severe cold wave conditions grip Jharkhand.

Nari Shakti Mahila Sangathan conducted the distribution drive. The event took place at Patel Nagar community hall. Moreover, Purnima Das Sahu provided support for the initiative.

Das Sahu represents Purvi assembly constituency. She assisted the social organization in arrangements. However, the women’s group led the execution.

Chaitali Singh heads Nari Shakti Mahila Sangathan. She emphasized the necessity of winter relief. Furthermore, she identified vulnerable groups needing assistance.

“Severe cold is affecting the region,” Singh stated. “We are distributing blankets among needy people.” In addition, she highlighted focus on specific groups.

The distribution targeted elderly citizens primarily. Children also received blankets during the event. Besides, other vulnerable individuals were included.

The community hall witnessed significant turnout. Beneficiaries collected blankets throughout the day. Meanwhile, volunteers managed the distribution process.

Jharkhand experiences intense winter conditions currently. Cold wave affects multiple districts statewide. On the other hand, social groups respond with relief efforts.

The organization planned the drive in advance. Blanket procurement was completed earlier. Subsequently, beneficiary lists were prepared systematically.

Local residents appreciated the timely assistance. Winter relief remains crucial for underprivileged families. Furthermore, community support strengthens such initiatives.

Similar drives are occurring across Jamshedpur. Various organizations conduct blanket distributions. In addition, political representatives support relief activities.

The BJP Yuva Morcha recently distributed blankets. MP Bidyut Mahato also conducted similar programs. Besides, multiple areas witnessed relief efforts.

However, Saryu Roy alleged irregularities in blanket distribution. An MLA raised concerns about a Rs 40 crore scam. Meanwhile, genuine relief efforts continue simultaneously.

Previous distributions occurred in Kadma and Ulidih. Other programs took place during Makar-Tusu festival. Furthermore, social groups distributed saris alongside blankets.
