JAMSHEDPUR – Ex-servicemen gathered at Shaheed Smarak Golmuri to honor martyrs with lamp lighting ceremony.
Petty Officer Kundan Kumar Singh coordinated the tribute event. He emphasized that valor and sacrifice define military traditions. Moreover, he called bravery the supreme ornament of soldiers.
The Akhil Bharatiya Purva Sainik Seva Parishad organized the program. District president Havildar Vinay Yadav inaugurated the ceremony with floral tributes. However, he lit the first lamp honoring fallen heroes.
Yadav highlighted soldiers’ dedication during festive celebrations at home. He noted that troops remain committed to border security. In addition, they sacrifice personal comfort for national defense.
State general secretary Siddhanath Singh participated in the ceremony. He lit a lamp remembering martyrs’ parents during his address. Besides, he praised families who contributed to military glory.
Military mothers and civilian patriots joined the gathering together. They assembled to pay respects to brave soldiers collectively. Meanwhile, women created an illuminated map of India there.
Participants lit decorative lamps on the national map outline. The ceremony honored soldiers who sacrificed lives for nation. Furthermore, organizers requested citizens to dedicate home lamps to martyrs.
District general secretary Jitendra Singh sang the organizational anthem. Veterans lit lamps paying homage to martyrs’ courage collectively. On the other hand, they appealed for commemorating heroes nationwide.
Rajiv Kumar, Jharkhand minister, advocated boycotting foreign goods strongly. He particularly opposed British products weakening Indian economy significantly. Moreover, he promoted supporting indigenous industries and local businesses.
The minister emphasized self-reliance and preserving Indian cultural values. He connected current Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative with Swadeshi ideology. However, he stressed relevance of indigenous production for economy.
All ex-servicemen offered floral tributes at the memorial site. They lit lamps and bowed before the martyrs’ monument. In addition, the gathering concluded with patriotic slogans echoing.
Attendees chanted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” with fervor repeatedly. They declared “Veer Shaheed Amar Rahe” honoring soldiers’ sacrifice. Besides, participants saluted the martyrs’ valor and supreme sacrifice.
Prominent attendees included Kundan Kumar Singh and Anupam Sharma. LP Singh, Surendra Pandey, and Kishore Prasad were present. Furthermore, Praveen KG, Vishwanvajit, and Ajit K Jha attended.
Narendra Ganguly, Paramhans Yadav, and Jasbir Singh participated actively. Satosh K Tiwari, HM Bharti, and Satish Prasad joined. Meanwhile, Amit K Singh, Dhananjay Nirdosh attended the ceremony.
SK Singh, SK Mishra, and Niranjan Sharma were also present. Avdhesh Kumar, Sukhvinder Singh, and Birju attended the gathering. On the other hand, SB Singh joined fellow veterans there.
