NIT Students Present Innovative Solutions at Sustainability Programme

Motivational Seminar by Himanshu Sheth Concludes Three-Day Event

JAMSHEDPUR – The National Service Scheme at NIT Jamshedpur organized a comprehensive three-day programme focused on sustainable development, featuring innovative student presentations and expert insights.

Over 15 student teams showcased their innovative solutions during the case study competition. “The presentations demonstrated exceptional creativity in addressing environmental challenges,” remarked a faculty member.

Meanwhile, the participants explored various environmental topics. The solutions ranged from urban farming initiatives to smart waste management systems.

Expert Insights on Environmental Challenges

Himanshu Sheth, the keynote speaker, emphasized bamboo’s potential. “Bamboo could revolutionize our approach to sustainable manufacturing,” noted an attendee.

Moreover, Sheth highlighted the urgency of environmental protection. The rising carbon dioxide levels pose significant threats to global biodiversity.

Faculty Support and Recognition

Dr. R.P. Singh, Dean of Student Welfare, shared sustainability perspectives. On the other hand, Dr. Jayendra Kumar provided guidance throughout the event.

The programme concluded with an awards ceremony. “The winning projects showed remarkable practical applicability,” commented a panel member.
