JAMSHEDPUR – The eighth edition of the Dhwani conclave is set to commence on January 11, 2025, at Michael John Auditorium. This year’s event will host 327 young leaders and 23 changemakers from Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal under the theme, From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.

Focus on Digital Transformation and SDGs

The conclave will delve into topics like cyber safety, artificial intelligence, combating misinformation, and leveraging digital tools to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs). Reflective sessions, including ‘Life Balance Sheet,’ will encourage youth to introspect and chart personal roadmaps for growth and purpose-driven action.

Esteemed Guests and Interactive Sessions

Notable speakers such as Swapnil Agarwal of Dhwani Rural Information Systems, Pravin Nikam from Samata Center, and Nasreen Jamal from the International Center for Research on Women will lead discussions. Their sessions aim to inspire young adults to navigate challenges like climate change, sustainability, and digital transformation.

Recognizing Changemakers

The event will honor 23 changemakers who have made significant contributions to their communities through reforms, workshops, and impactful initiatives. A coffee table book titled Where the Mind is Without Fear will be launched, capturing the journey of Dhwani through the lens of emerging leaders.

Cleanliness Drive at Dobo Dam

The conclave will begin with the annual cleanliness drive, ‘Badlao ke Doot,’ at Dobo Dam from 7-8 a.m. Nearly 400 participants, including volunteers and youth, will participate in this activity-based awareness program, promoting ownership and responsibility toward public spaces.
